Short Timeless Egypt Tour
With Nile Cruise And Train

An extraordinary land, Egypt is rich in awe-inspiring temples and monuments, and possesses great natural beauty as well. You will gaze in wonder at the legendary Pyramids, marvel at the vast treasures and antiquities of Tutankhamun's Tomb, and glide past impressive feats of architecture as you cruise the famous Nile River.

Day 1

Depart the USA on overnight flight to Cairo.

Day 2 ~ Cairo

Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 3 ~ Aswan ~ Sleeper Train

In the morning we will start our excursion with Egyptian Museum housing over 100,000 relics including the magnificent treasures of King Tutankhamun, followed by a visit to one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramids and the Mysterious Sphinx. The open air Khan El Khalili Bazzar will end the tour of the day. At 07: 00 pm we will transfer you to the train station for the overnight train to Aswan.

Day 4 ~ Nile Cruise

Upon arrival in Aswan, you will be met and transferred to board the cruise and start fascinating journey on the Nile, the longest river in the world and the life-blood of Egypt. After lunch, we will have a visit to the Aswan High Dam, the Temple of Philae and Unfinished Obelisk. You will have free evening at leisure. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 5 ~ Nile cruise

Today our first stop will be at Kom Ombo to explore the Temple shared by two Gods Sobek and Haroeris. From here we will sail to Edfu to visit the Temple of Horus, a very dramatic monument and most completely preserved Egyptian temple. Later we will enjoy afternoon tea on the way to Esna. Overnight in Esna.

Day 6 ~ Nile Cruise

Today's exploration includes visits to the West and East Banks. We will visit the sites on the West Bank such as: the Valley of the Kings and Queens, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon, as well as tour what the East Bank offers, namely the Karnak and Luxor Temples - the magnificent wonders of Ramses II and Akhenaton, in the City of the Living, where they greet the sunrise. This city was known as the 'city of palaces' in Homer's time. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 7 ~ Cairo ~ Sleeper Train

This morning we will disembark the cruise ship, after having breakfast on board. You will have free time at leisure till evening, before we transfer you to the train station for the sleeper train to Cairo, which is at 09:30 pm. Overnight on train.

Day 8 ~ Cairo

Upon arrival we will be met and start our day tour to Alexandria by private car. Sightseeing includes visits to the Citadel of Qaitbay - occupying the site of the famous Pharos Lighthouse, El Montazah Royal family Palace, Pompey's Pillar, also the new Modern Library which was built on the spot of Bibliotheca Alexandrina, acclaimed as the greatest of all classical institutions, and the Mosque of Abu Abbas al-Mursi. In the evening we will be back to Cairo for overnight.

Day 9

Depart for the USA.
